City of Bella Vista
In 2006, the Village members voted to incorporate Bella Vista into an official City. The city assumed the functional and infrastructure responsibilities including; police and fire services, street maintenance, trash collection, and issuing building permits for both commercial and residential development. The city collects sales tax, property tax, and fees for building permits. Our elected officials govern and make laws for the incorporated city limits of Bella Vista. Architectural Control Committee
The Architectural Control Committee ensures the all structures, landscaping, and colors meet the guidelines set forth in the Bella Vista Property Owner's Association governing documents. They change a fee and ensure all work is authorized and inspected to ensure compliance. The Architectural Control Committee is privately owned by Cooper Communities and those who set on the board are appointed. Bella Vista Property Owner's Association
The Property Owner's Association governs recreational activities, or amenities. The Bella Vista Village Property Owner's Associations and Cooper Realty Investments follow the Declarations and Protective Covenants in the governing documents. The governing board includes nine members known as the Board of Directors. They serve a three-year terms and set the short and long-term objectives and goals. The day-to-day activity of the Property Owner Association is directed by its general manager, with division heads and site managers responsible for the various departments and facilities throughout the village, including the Water Department. The Bella Vista Property Owner's Association charges all members a fee to support the amenities.
